Connection, confidence and choice

Community Participation

One-to-one support to explore interests, build everyday confidence and take part in community life at your pace.

Support shaped around you

More possibilities than you might expect

Community participation is not one fixed activity. It can be a relaxed first step into a new place, a regular social routine, learning a practical skill or rediscovering an interest. We listen to what matters to you and plan support around your goals, comfort and preferences.

Ideas we can explore together

Virtual puttingAccessible, social golf practice with adjustable difficulty and no weather worries.
Creative interestsArt, photography, music, markets, museums or a local class.
Social confidencePractise conversations, ordering, planning and navigating new settings.
Local discoveryLibraries, community groups, volunteering, events and accessible recreation.

We can help research accessible options, plan the outing, travel with you, provide practical prompts and gradually step support up or down as your confidence changes.

Understanding NDIS funding

Support-worker assistance for social and community activities may be funded when it relates to your disability, goals and plan. The ordinary cost of an activity—such as entry, membership, food or standard equipment—is generally paid by the participant. We specialise in helping you turn plan goals into practical options and can talk with you, your nominee, support coordinator or plan manager before services begin.

Read the NDIS guide to Core supports

Every plan is individual. Compass cannot approve funding or guarantee that a support can be claimed; please confirm with your plan manager, support coordinator or my NDIS contact.
